That has to do with the right application.
When I ordered this I didn't know it was shipped from overseas, I think it's at my expense which I haven't checked. All in all a great little product and tool and it fits between the spokes of my bike. I know others have said it's cheap and fragile, but in my experience it's worked great for light to medium jobs. I wouldn't use it to try to pull out a stuck valve core or twist a valve stem as I don't think it can handle that.
