Based on some of the reviews and my experience with kitchen gadgets I was a bit skeptical about this. I was pleasantly surprised that it worked so well. We have a medium sized Whirlpool built in microwave and the lids fit our microwave perfectly. We have a magnetic one and it sticks to the top with no problem. It's so easy to use, all you have to do is pull to release the magnetic force holding it to the microwave ceiling and place it on top of your food. If food gets on it, you just wash it off. My wife was so impressed that she advised me to order a few more as gifts for the people who were so impressed.
