Doesn't work! With multiple drives, different cables, Tried different controllers. No dice in any way. Just defective and not worth the time/effort to send it back. Hence the bad rating! I bought a SATA/IDE converter from the same brand and it worked so I guess that it was some of their products work the lights come on and the hard drives spin up but nothing is sent from the drive to the motherboard IDE/IDE controller cards which I've never seen in any other IDE product so may I just remove that solder joint after doing a bit of research on what those pins are and why they deserve to be soldered directly with a crappy USB/Laptop IDE converter and d ricky is just o work. What else can I say? I think I will try another brand of converter, or hopefully this converter will work after modification. When I think about it after inspecting the solder joints on the connector, this is pretty crappy next-level work! This product deserves a bad review!
