I hope the inventor of these retractable straps makes MILLIONS of dollars from this. They earn it! These belts are amazing and work very well. Everyone who sees them asks about them and they love the idea and mechanism. Give them to your 12-year-old, tell him to hop in the pickup truck bed and snap the hook onto the bed ring. Pull the strap out and snap the ring on the canoe handle to the transom. Turn the knob a few times to tighten it. Mission accomplished. Try it with normal belts, you will not succeed. So far they've worked amazingly well and been kept very organized, completely self-contained. The real test will be whether the tape wraps incorrectly. Will it be easy to solve? I will buy more personally and as a gift for friends.
