Revainrating 4 out of 5

* Updated in 18 months * Still very happy with this cover. It just weathered three storms with winds up to 50mph, including 33 degrees Fahrenheit and a snowstorm. . The top of the lid remained intact, which is frankly incredible. Any other branded cover I've had in the past would have been destroyed by now. However, highly recommended. * Updated rating after 1 year. * This boot shows some wear, particularly where the bottom straps attach to the boot. On some tapes, the coating material has completely worn away (see photo). Other holes mysteriously appeared in other places, but not as serious. In fact they could be caused by deer hooves/antlers as deer like to lie in the shade next to the RV. The seams under the back flaps have come undone. Strangely there is no tension at this point and the lid flips up and covers this area. Note that this is a design flaw. All zippers still work and appear to be very durable. Likewise the waist straps. Everything remains in good condition. In my original review, I stated that the upper is made of a t-shirt-like material. It's like a quick drying nylon material. Although it's very faded I still can't find a hole or tear in it. . It survived 3 storms with sustained winds of 30mph and gusts up to 45mph. It has also endured 25 inches of rain in 5 months. It is still in good condition with only visible signs of wear on the attachment/wiping points with the struts and on the number plate bracket and in the corner of the rear bumper where small holes have been worn away. The top cover material is sun faded but not torn or worn. This is surprising since the material is very thin. All zippers remain functional and appear to be durable (Read this "Classic Accessory"?). So far I've been very happy with this case. * Rating after 5 months of use. * The cover is still in excellent condition even after fairly heavy rain and wind. No signs of premature wear except at the front of the nose where a small hole appeared. The upper (which is suspicious material) still holds up well. Buckles, straps and zippers seem to work well. First review: After having 4 ADCO cases and 2 Classic accessory cases, I decided to try this S2 Expedition case. Previous covers were purchased for use on another RV. This cover was purchased for use in a Class "C" motorhome. This Class C measures just under 25 feet from the nose to the outside edge of the back stairs. This is a 25-26 foot drop. Fit: The case fits very well. There's definitely room for a 26" smaller one. It fits loose but can be adjusted with a strap system that includes a front, bottom side and 2 top (top) straps. Quality: The true quality of this case will be revealed with the Time will tell. However, the zippers feel heavy (unlike the Classic Accessories crappy brand) and the attachment points are well reinforced. The straps that come with the kit contain what appear to be well-made buckles. The material of the roof is similar to the nylon material of a T-shirts. Whether that will hold up with prolonged use I doubt. It looks like this might be the weak link. I will update this review over time. Installation: I wish manufacturers would make the distinction between front - and back more clearly than when you first open these covers. When balancing on a roof with various obstacles, give sof ort on which face the cover has. It shouldn't be difficult, but for some reason it feels like there's too much to do with roofs when there shouldn't be. How about a simple white noseband that is easy to see? Aside from that nagging, the installation was typical for a cover. I had to use my tractor shovel to get it up onto the roof as climbing the stairs isn't easy. Shipping: Prime's two-day shipping is great. There are no problems here.
