It's NOT tight. General.
Although the photo shows the caps I received I thought there might be a way to close the hole. nope The lid has a permanent opening for drinking. The penetration of insects (wasps/bees) into the glass cannot be prevented. The liquid can completely squirt around the cap and flow out of it. Fits well. But the description is misleading and not true. It is NOT sealed.
