I am very satisfied with the Vacu Vin wine cabinet made of stainless steel. This is my third vacuum sealed wine pump. The rest are still working. I like the look of stainless steel and prefer its weight. All three pumps seem to work equally well, but what sets this one apart is the "clicks" it makes when you've pumped enough. Obviously I put a lot of effort into other pumps because a long time ago I kept pumping when I could have stopped. This pump gives me confidence in its accuracy, or at least its consistency, since there is less wine and more headspace in the bottle, requiring more pumps. And the quality of the wine remains very good for several days. However, a curious thing happened recently. I live near sea level where the pump has always been used. I recently took it on a hike to 7500 feet. At that altitude, the clicking didn't work at all. I was concerned that the product's best function might fail after a short lifetime. But when I got home, the clicking came back. I wonder if the manufacturer can explain that.
