It's hard not to appreciate the sentiment behind the NOVQY To My Grandson From Grandpa Necklace. As a proud soldier, I understand why my grandfather would want to give me something like this for my birthday or graduation. However, there are a few downsides to this particular product. First of all, the quality is not quite what you would expect from a military style dog tag. The metal is a bit thinner than I would like and the engraving isn't as deep and crisp as it could be. Also, the ball chain is a bit flimsy and prone to tangling. On the other hand, the design is actually quite nice. I appreciate the American flag and military unit logos on the label itself, as well as the words "I love mom" on the back. It's a sweet feeling that any grandchild will appreciate. Overall I would give this chain three stars out of five. A good gift for a patriotic grandson, but the quality could be improved.
