My son had Roper loafers which he loved but just went beyond the Big Kid sizes and went to youth sizes. Roper doesn't make these shoes for young people, there's a loophole, I think they expect that as soon as you stop being a big kid you immediately become a man. Ha no! So I looked for other brands and found this one. He didn't want laces, and the leather on the tongue is thin and flimsy so it always gets in the way when you put your foot in a boot. And he's a boy, so they probably won't last long. I sent these back.
