Very handy and easy to use, it's easily the most effective file I've ever used. My heels tend to crack badly - painful and unsightly. Only a weekly medical pedicure kept them soft and comfortable, but I no longer have that luxury. Now, for the price of a great pedicure, I have a tool that works just as well at home and will obviously last for many years to come. lasts a few months at best. I used the lotion every night and then took a hot bath about once a week, then used a quality anti-dandruff lotion (not cheap) and then a foot file in the shower. I almost wear out my wrist and can't match the results of a pedicure. I've tried homemade electronic pedicure kits, but they couldn't do anything about the thick, dry skin on my heels. Now I can get my heels into a comfortable condition in just a few minutes without much effort or effort. (Note: I bought an inexpensive soft toothbrush to clean the foot buffer.) I was skeptical about a foot file that can be used on DRY skin, but it's amazing and well worth the investment.
