Updates: After watching videos and reading guides for other clamp meters, I realized that you need an AC line splitter to read current on standard outlet devices. If you have access to HOT or neutral wires (like a circuit breaker), you don't have it. Once I got the AC line splitter I was able to read A and Hz. Support doesn't help, they just offered me a refund. I raised the stars since it really works. I cannot rate higher as there is no instruction in English. I was hoping I would like this counter, but it doesn't work as advertised. I tried counting the current with clamps. I ran a test with a 1481W heater and drew 13.3A (measured). This meter cannot supply current properly. It read 0.023 A. I also tried Hz. It showed 0.0 Hz. Maybe I got a defective one. which led me to another minus. None of the documentation was in English (not even the box). I couldn't turn to her to see if I had done something wrong. Using the provided probes I was able to read the voltage in Hz and they were accurate. The measuring device comes in a neat case and makes a solid impression. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this product as the main reason I bought it was to use a clamp meter.
