That worked well for a few years and then became problematic. Aversion to modern "plugs" that are not made of cork. often had to resort to instructions or even put a cork in the bottle because it didn't work with the new "cork" style. Tonight I threw the device away altogether after it pierced the glass rim of the bottle, not the cork. I had to throw away the wine.
