Suitable for fastening nuts and bolts onto studs. Slide it over the screw threads and wait a full 24 hours to ensure it is installed. This version of the stick is really good, you can just put a screw on it and don't have to mess with liquid. I have been using their material for many years. Make sure you get the correct force for the size of your bolts. - Low Strength - Violet/Loctite 222 (liquid) for screws up to 1/4 inch. Medium Strength - Blue/Loctite 243 (liquid) and 248 (pencil) for 1/4" to 3/4" screws. High Strength - Red/Loctite 263 (Liquid) is designed for screws up to 1 inch. Purple, you can remove the screw with a hand tool. Blue you may need some leverage. Red: You need to warm up before attempting to remove the screw. Do not exceed the manufacturer's recommended force for your screw size to avoid risk of detachment/damage. I had stripped a few screws before I thought everything would be fine, but the screws were softer than I expected. Not worth the risk/headache.
