First of all, I live in an apartment without a pantry. There are MUCH MORE advantages here than in other traditional "pantries". I install them separately on the side. Side and shelves so flat. Not sure if this counts as a downside for anyone, but the shelves sag a bit under the weight, but they're metal and they're not going anywhere. If you want your canned goods to lie on their side so they roll to the edge, this works well as a grocery store that pushes the next one to the front (or you can slant the shelves for more impact). ONE downside is that 1 of the 4 plastic end caps on the granny frame did not fit and this resulted in the screw on the 'leg' having to be looser/stretched. There was a slight hesitation, but again. won't go anywhere.
