My 3 year old boy sometimes urinates at night, either because he drank too much before bed or forgot to go to the bathroom before bed. This pillow was great. The absorbency of this pad is amazing. I like to poke my nose in bed and sniff everything to make sure the urine doesn't spill. I had a night where my son must have slept on the edge of the carpet because some urine got onto his sheets. However, the block doesn't move underneath at all. Even if he decides to jump into bed to drain his last energy before lying down. I have another supposedly "waterproof" sheet underneath his real sheets just to protect the mattress itself and it shows any wet spots if they leak which I check when he makes the bed. In addition, it is very easy to clean! I just throw the rug and the blanket he soiled with it in the washing machine. I've washed it close to a hundred times and it has shown absolutely no wear and tear and still has such great absorbency. Even my 3 year old doesn't mind having it there, it's big enough to cover his sleeping area and longer. It's perfect for the price!
