I've had the duet for about a year. I paint a lot for adults so this has many uses. (At least 15 or so are sharpened a day when I paint) It was great. I noticed last week that it just didn't sharpen my crayons as well as it should, or at least not as well when I first got it. So I pulled out one of those 50 cent two-hole hand sharpeners I keep in the office storeroom. I have a set of crayons that are too big for the duet and that's my only gripe. I disassembled it and lo and behold it's perfect for my duet! Since this baby is battery operated and the blade can be replaced, I should have it for a long time. No more unnecessary twists of a manual sharpener wasting a precious pencil. This little sharpener gets it right every time you keep the blade sharp.
