Works perfectly! - Hardware

My husband used a template for assembly but after assembly I had to go back and readjust a bit because it is mis-clicking and not closing. After adjusting both settings, which he thought were easy adjustments, the lid closed and worked as described. Doesn't help lift the lid or train the lifting load, but allows it to close gently. As you can see from the video it takes a bit of effort to close so it never closes on its own and shuts down so slowly that you have enough time to get your fingers out of the way. My cedar chest lid weighs 20 pounds, so I knew I would need two to make it work.
