I bought this after looking for a good cell phone holder. I've tried different types of phone mounts: suction cup mounts that never stay on my truck and vent mounts that fall off when I hit a bump. I like this phone holder with cup holder because it has an expandable and stable base. The base can securely snap into the cup holder, and you just need to twist the handle, the car phone mount will expand to fit snugly in the truck's cup holder area. This was the best I've found and works so great. I don't care that the phone mounts on the vent hide the ability to move the vent and I wanted it to be and it was a headache. The best advantage of this mount is that it is very strong in the cup holder and won't fall off and even fits my IPHONE 8 PLUS with a case. It definitely doesn't feel cheap and won't bend, fall or fall, which I was grateful for. The only downside to this product is how low it is depending on where your cup holders are and that it takes a cup holder so I just added an extra cup holder to the floor of my truck. This is normal for me and I just love that I have a phone mount that works now. I say if you want a good phone mount it's a good investment and it works so well my sister now wants one for her truck.
