Like many others, I started baking my own bread during this time of bread shortage. But I didn't have a bread knife and my slices were either broken or crushed. Enter this knife purchase. My slices are perfect now. The knife is quite sharp and the serrated edge is perfect for slicing. The weight is perfect and I love that the whole knife is stainless steel. Now I didn't put the knife in the dishwasher and probably won't either. So I can't say how it behaves after washing in the dishwasher. But overall I am very happy with this knife and the price was perfect.
