When I installed the first one I thought everything was going great. Haven't tested it in two months, no problems, suction is great, no damage to the vacuum that I can locate. I checked it later after some woodwork so it sucks up a lot of sawdust. I want to check it out just to shake off the sawdust and dump it out. I noticed it broke off the top seal and about a third of the way down. Filter. I figured just replace it with another one and you'll be fine. I wanted to insert the second filter, I felt a slight resistance as if I was trapped somewhere. I was trying to adjust the top gasket to fit and internally it ripped halfway to the filter making the filter workable and not doing its job at all.
