I have a house in the city and a house in the country, so I have two of them. It just doesn't make sense to have one and carry it around, this way you can have the charger with you everywhere and not have to remember to pack it every time. In fact, I try to do this with all my stuff whenever possible. Immediately out of the box, both worked and charged three separate devices: iPhone, iPad, and cloud WiFi. So far so good, performance wise they need to take some time to show the details. First impressions are that they are well built for their price and look like they will do their job well. PSI charged the iPad 100% with this charger and it charged almost the same rate as when using the Griffin Power Bank (previous charger) which is good. When I was looking for a charger that would charge the iPad faster than the standard iPad charger that came with the iPad, the Griffin Power Block was recommended to me and yes, it was faster than the standard Apple iPad charger. So if this charger charges the iPad faster, I assume other devices will charge faster. And because it does all of this from just one outlet, it's a great charger. Add to that the ability to run from 110V to 240V AC, and you've got a worldwide travel charger (don't forget to buy an adapter for European, UK, and other plugs).
