For allergy sufferers. think again

How to start. I bought these sheets because they are 100% cotton and I am allergic, cotton is said to be hypoallergenic for the most part. When I received the sheets I took them out of the packaging and there was a strong chemical odor that smelled like chlorine or vinegar or something (maybe that's why the label says in bold to wash before use ). I did everything according to the instructions and washed the whole kit. After drying, I noticed that my lint filter was completely full, about 3 handfuls of tightly packed gray lint. I wonder how much lint would be collected if I cleaned them regularly throughout the drying cycle. Anyway, as I laid her on the bed, I noticed that every time the sheets were moved, the chemical vinegar smell was still there, wafting up toward me. The first night I sneezed several times, but I was very tired and fell asleep quickly. The next morning I woke up with my sinuses completely closed, unable to breathe through my nose and had to take a steam shower to clear it all up. Same goes, the dryer is 100% full of lint and it still smells funny. The next night I wasn't as tired and didn't fall asleep as quickly, so I started tossing and turning. Every time I moved, the sheets would shoot jams at me. I even keep a hepa purifier in my room that I had to bend over to blow directly in my face so I didn't have to sneeze all the time. I lay there for a few hours, sneezing and blowing my nose. It was late and I had to get up early so I literally had to put on the 3m n95 particulate mask I use for vacuuming in order to sleep. I slept with a mask literally designed to protect construction workers from asbestos so I could get some rest with these sheets. OK. If you are like me I would look elsewhere. That's all.
