Review on 🔪 Saveur Selects German Steel Forged 6-Piece Knife Set with Bamboo In-Drawer Storage Knife Block - Model 1026306 by Diane Collins

This set of knives with a knife block in the shape of a drawer is amazing. The knives are very high quality and I like the knife block that can be hidden in the kitchen drawer rather than taking up counter space. My wife and I got a very nice set of Zwilling JA Henckels for our wedding 15 years ago, but one of the steak knives was long gone and one of the other knives broke recently. The rest of the knives still have some life, but some are definitely looking a bit worn. I thought 15 years was a good run, so I've recently started keeping an eye on new knives. I had never heard of the Saveur Selects line but it looked good so I decided to give it a try. I'm very glad I did this. The knives are beautiful and heavy. They appear to be very well made. Trademarks aside, my first impression is that these knives are actually better than our Zwilling knives that have served us well for the past 15 years. Of course, I can't yet attest to how they work long-term, but I'll be very surprised if they don't last long. Material and workmanship seem to be excellent. They feel comfortable yet firm in my hand. They are sharp and cut very well. This is one of those products that has exceeded my expectations.
