Purchased to connect a Firestick 4k to a Panasonic Plasma. The TV only had 2 USB ports rated at 500mA and this new FireStick requires at least 1A USB if you want to connect it to your TV, which you may not find if your TV is longer than 3 seconds. This amp works without any problems. Now I don't have to worry about data loss anymore. When I turn off the TV, the Firestick turns off too. So far, so good.
