I have used this in the UK with no problem. It comes with a cloth pouch containing the plug and various adapters. Two USB ports and two electrical ports with different voltages came in very handy. One was a 100-240V AC/10A max adapter and the other was a 220V to 110V AC adapter. I used the USB ports to charge my iPhone, charger and digital camera. When it came to the electrical connection, I had to be very careful about which one I used. The lower tension worked great with my Conair secret curling tool. However, I was a little concerned when charging my laptop, I was using the wrong port (adapter port) and heard a click, so I quickly unplugged it. When I used a different connector (converter), my laptop charged without any problems. Good product, but you need to learn about the differences between AC adapter and AC converter.
