First of all the resulting device is completely different than the one shown here, it has no adjustable flow. It barely has enough buoyancy (head) to lift a foot at 1 cup per minute. If you're expecting a 200gph variable rate pump, this isn't for you. Despite the product name I would expect 2 gallons per hour at 1 foot head height. To give you an idea of how little flow this thing has, use a 3/8" pipe. You can pump out water faster than this thing can pump out again. in. Let's be realistic, I don't have much for $16 expected. But I was expecting it to be like the picture. It's quiet and seems well built for what it is. Just know what you're getting before you pull the trigger.
