update 03/12/20 - although it's a good idea this lint removal tool didn't last long. I only used it a few times a week and a few days ago it broke so couldn't glue it back together. Downgraded from 1 star to 3 stars. I ordered these three packs of reusable lint brushes when I realized that sticky roller lint brushes are not eco-friendly. They are similar to the ones I had 20 years ago (great product) but less durable and the reversing mechanism isn't great so the head doesn't rotate easily. The pile on the fabric is very short (compared to my old model) but it manages to remove a fair amount of cat fur from my furniture and a decent amount of woven clothing; Knitting clothes requires more effort. All in all a good choice for little money. I especially like that I no longer throw away sticky-backed plastic wraps. Tip: Use a sticker or paint smudge on one side of the brush head to indicate the correct brushing direction. This will save you from disappointment.
