It does what I want which means I can go upstairs without running the vacuum over it. The suction power decreases due to the distance, but this is not a problem with a hose. It took me a while to figure out how to keep the hose screwed in (there is a rotating part that screws it in). But I just wanted to hurry. I like the nozzle selection. I wash some of my hair regularly as I have five cats, one dog and five vacuuming people! I haven't figured out how to attach it to the Bissell but it should have attached to the Kenmore and it is very easy.
