So I crashed my bike, Cruiser (Metal) is done. Dressed in full gear, I walked away with a scraped knee and pulled the muscles in my lower ankle on the side my bike hit first. My gloves, which my wife bought last Christmas, completely saved my hands and joints. I will try to post pictures of the extent of damage to the gloves. I have a small (eurocent) central right street rash and a little irritation from one punch. The hard plastic on the palm completely saved me from a severe road burn, and the impact was absorbed by a metal knuckle, not bone. I'm sure I can use the same pair again, but I've been taught not to double check protective gear when it's worn out, so I'm buying another pair now. I just wish the hard plastic palm was a little bigger for bigger hands!
