This desk has been completely distorted. It's actually a thin piece of cardboard held together with a couple of screws. There was a hole in one of the rear crossbars that wasn't machined properly so the screw just didn't fit in its slot. One of the screw packs came in a bag that was oily and would stain anything that was touched. And for the coup de gras, important information has been left out of the step-by-step assembly instructions to only appear later on the back of the instructions. Except that these steps could only be done before the table was fully assembled and it wasn't possible to take it apart and start over. It looks like the designer wanted the consumer to skip these important intermediate steps as they were only presented as an afterthought at the end of the guide. Ridiculous! If you want something more structurally sound than a paper airplane, or have the instructions in the right order, look elsewhere.
