You can't regulate the temperature, but that's my fault after hours of searching for a good interchangeable curling iron. I missed that little detail. But it got hot pretty quickly and the curl lasted all day and night. The heat protection glove wasn't practical at all as for some reason the fingers were terribly long and the little packaging it came in didn't hold kegs very well. But overall I like it because it works.
