Review on Rollei Compact Traveler No I Aluminum - For Travelling by Andrea Church

One bad clamp screw ruins the whole bunch

When I got my tripod I didn't use it much and used it in a way that didn't require the legs to be fully extended. Unfortunately, after the warranty expired, I started using it fully extended and found that one of the clamp screws on one leg would not tighten, so I am confident that the tripod will support the weight of my camera or easel when I use it use. for plein air painting. It's my fault for not trying the tripod in every position, but IO believes replacement should be allowed in situations where there is clearly little use and no wear and tear. Otherwise the tripod appears to be a good product, but any product is only as good as its weakest part. UPDATE: I would like to deduct a star. I hobbled with that one pinch bolt that was tight enough to stay in place but it wouldn't hold and my whole mail box fell off as that leg collapsed and the mineral spirits, medium, oil paint and broken glass fell out of me and the new ones Glass pallet spilled. everywhere on the sidewalk. Maybe I'm just stupid but the company is in Germany so I can't call them and their chat is in German. So I have to say, I would like to warn everyone to keep their hands off this tripod. It was an absolute waste of money.
