I bought a towel for my daughter who has wavy hair and air dried it. We figured a towel would speed up drying time and also keep her wave. It turns out that the towel only retains moisture. She wore the towel for an hour and when she took it off her hair was as wet as when she put the towel on. In order not to completely miscalculate the purchase, I tried it on my wavy hair, but I dry it with a hair dryer every day. The towel is ok but seems less drying to the hair than a regular bath towel of no use. So it's essentially an overpriced hair towel that's no different from other towels, except that it feels a little less absorbent.
