Review on Storkcraft Glider Ottoman Cherry Chenille by Jeff Hall

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for short people like me

Bought 3 months before birth and baby is now 13 months old. I did a lot of research before deciding on this. I'm 5ft 2in so most standard gliders were too big for me. When I was sitting comfortably, my feet couldn't touch the floor, so I couldn't get out of my chair without moving forward or just trying very hard. I didn't think having a baby in my arms would be very convenient. That's why I chose it because of the small size. And there is good and bad in that. This is the perfect size for me. When the baby was a toddler and I needed lots of pillows to help me breastfeed (first time mom) the chair didn't really work well as there wasn't much space. But as the baby got bigger I was able to put my hand on the armrest while feeding so there was no strain on me. That was great. At 13 months we are still breastfeeding a few times a day and we both enjoy using the chair. We also had an accident where the armrests and seat cushion had to be washed. Apparently the fever is making my child vomit. :(I put all the pillows in the washer and dryer. I suggest you hand wash. The arm pillows have shifted. It took me forever to put them back in place, just long enough to to snap them back into place but it never will The total time it took to move the cushions back was probably longer than it would take to just hand wash The good news is you can remove all cushions and wash! my needs and my growth and I will definitely order it again .PS I was concerned that at this price it would break quickly but in the early days it withstood 2 to 8 hours of daily use.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Reliability
