For the price, this works great. It takes a little getting used to at first (I've never used a keyboard case before), but it sits nicely between the keys. I've laid my laptop sideways on the floor many times (don't ask) and it hasn't fallen over. I'm a little confused by the Q&A that says you can't see the keyboard backlight through the lid. You can - obviously it's not nearly as bright, but with the *blue ombre* cover (white characters) on the M1 I can definitely see enough to navigate the keyboard - see pics.
