One star is too hard. They used to be the best thing since sliced bread. I've been using mine for many years and with just a few tricks they've made them great. (Tape hose connections etc so you don't lose air. Simple but effective) My new one.…… ……….I just bought a second one to use on the go when I'm not at home. Pump Road is off. He would try to work, but he won't. This has become a problem. The washer was deformed on the pump - ok fixed it got better. Even so, it would not vibrate normally. The opening of the container was almost covered with mold. No wonder the oil didn't spill. Nothing bad, of course, but I wasn't expecting that. Even after cleaning, it is not a real round hole. The mantle bundle makes the hole oval. Not a deal breaker though. The kiss of death was.…………. I love these devices because they are somewhat see-through. They are marked in liters and the light green container makes it very easy to know exactly how much oil you have taken. This is the secret of a successful oil change. I gave my new one a star because it shows no oil. Mine is a more intense blue now, and even with a flashlight I can't see through this container - I can't even see oily darkness. It makes you wonder how much oil you actually took out. It broke the deal for me. This is really the best feature of this extractor. No labeling needed if you can't see the oil inside.
