Review on πŸ“± amFilm Glass Screen Protector for iPad 9.7 6th/5th Gen: Tempered Glass, Apple Pencil Compatible by Jan Keller

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Dropped my iPad. Screen protector destroyed. The screen itself was fine. They replaced it for me for free.

As the name suggests, I slipped on the ice and dropped my iPad on the rocky sidewalk. The case wouldn't close and still detached from the iPad. He landed face down. The class was crushed at three corners, three spots with small spider-like cracks, and two cracks a few inches apart above the screen. I thought the screen was cracked until I ran my fingernail across the screen protector and felt the cracks were in the screen protector. I removed the protective film and found that my iPad screen itself was not scratched. The protective glass absorbed the impact energy, crushing and breaking it. Safety glass has proven itself in use and fully proven itself. And the company will send me a new one for free. That's what they mean by "lifetime warranty," I think. I am now a lifetime customer. The metal case of the iPad was slightly dented in two places as the case was broken and torn off. It was a failure. The protective film on the screen was a success. Tip: To remove the protective film, use a sharp knife to very gently pry up the corner, just high enough to slide a piece of paper, perhaps a business card, through. Then insert more business cards. Don't lift, just push. Continue until you no longer need to continue.
