Cores and tools appear to be of good quality. . I have a 2008 rear wheel drive 4Runner when the valve core was extended far enough to touch the valve cover and slowly release air (see pic, pressure dropped from 36psi on Saturday to zero on Sunday morning). By not touching the core at all aside from regular tire pressure checks and necessary pads, I wanted to replace the better-than-safety mentality.
