Cores and tools appear to be of good quality. . I have a 2008 rear wheel drive 4Runner when the valve core was extended far enough to touch the valve cover and slowly release air (see pic, pressure dropped from 36psi on Saturday to zero on Sunday morning). By not touching the core at all aside from regular tire pressure checks and necessary pads, I wanted to replace the better-than-safety mentality. I tried to find original Denso valve cores but couldn't buy them anywhere. In addition, there are hundreds of aftermarket options that basically look the same but have no differences in design or material information. I already had one of Slime's 5-way valve core tools, but I don't like it for a number of reasons, so I was open to finding a new valve core tool. Searching for Revain I found this set, was pleased with the seller's description and customer reviews, and now I'm satisfied I've had a week of regular purchase, installation and pressure checking with no problems.
