A bit narrow for a standard poodle

It's hard to know how tall a 55 pound dog is with big feet but skinny legs. This is a Standard Poodle. The standard poodle forum on Facebook says "Average". So I bought these, and after a difficult drawing session (Daisy didn't laugh) they did well. And stayed a day. The reason I bought them was to find a way to keep my dog from scratching some of the stitches on his neck while they heal. Right where the conical collar should be, so there's no way to use the Cone of Shame. Instead, someone suggested these booties because without toenail feedback, the dog's scratching cycle is broken. Brilliant. So I strapped it to the dog, and then... now it's worth buying it: it started walking like Monty Python's Ministry of Walks. I only dressed her by her hind legs (don't scratch her neck with her front paws), and she walked in the weirdest, high, jerky gait you've ever seen. I tried not to laugh because Daisy would take revenge for being mocked. No, I did NOT film it. However, I've thought about it. Well, the booties finally came off after Daisy chewed hard on the Velcro, but they lasted all day and ended up in the yard. They were wet from the snow on the outside, but warm and dry on the inside. So if you need to keep your dog's paws away from ice, snow and road salt these are PERFECT. To protect against scratches after surgery, it more or less worked until they came off.
