Review on Maxtor L01P100 100GB Internal ATA Hard Drive - 7200 RPM by Eddie Orrell

I bought this hard drive not only for the extra storage space, but also because I wanted to run Windows on it and format my old hard drive. I've read that 7200 rpm can make a difference in performance (vs 5200) and it certainly showed on this one. The installation CD that came with your hard drive makes it very easy to transfer all system files and personal documents from old to new. As an added bonus, the hard drive is also very quiet. I recommend this article to anyone looking for a 100GB hard drive.
