Read the title first. I now have a well-lit patio that literally doesn't add to my electric bill. Their bulbs are quite small (about 1 inch in diameter) and the light isn't very bright, but at night it gives off a nice warm summer atmosphere and the area is really dimly lit. I love how they turn on and off automatically with ambient light so I don't have to worry about forgetting to turn them on or off. And even in this case, the electricity bill does not affect! It was fairly cloudy when I first set them up so I didn't expect them to turn on due to low/no charge that night, but lo and behold the solar charger was efficient enough to charge even in sub-optimal light conditions function.
