This is my ninth heater in 30 years. Shipped flat! Most of the heaters I've come across are rolled up and I need to straighten them out. All instructions are printed directly on the device. But it also comes with a booklet. If you look at it you can see the wiring of the heating element. Unlike most heaters, the thermostat is built into the unit. The controller specifies a temperature range: High, Medium, Low - I'll have to study their documentation to understand what that means. The LED on the panel is very small - if you look at it you can see if it's on or not. It doesn't light up the room. There is so much elegance to this design that I felt a little guilty about hiding it under my mattress. Highly recommended.
