The product appears to be quite durable contrary to other reviews. If you drop it on the ground you would break it, but it doesn't break because hot water is poured into it. The tea strainer really seems to be made of high-quality metal. The holes are very small, which prevents sediment from getting into the tea. After brewing a cup of tea and covering it with a lid, I let it steep for 5 minutes. I removed the glass lid which was quite hot so be careful. I appreciate that they made the filter lined with silicone material as it slides in and out of the jar easily. but the glass itself doesn't dissipate heat as much as they claim. The glass was still too hot to touch, although they claim the double glass design is to keep your hands warm. I would still recommend this mug to anyone who wants a compact tea glass that is convenient to assemble and store.
