This item was rolled very tightly and then tied/secured (very tightly) in some sort of plastic wrap so tightly that it became damaged the roll along the (long) sides by 2-3 inches on each side! Who packs a product like that? I could only use 3-4 inches in the center of the roll. Thank god I only needed a smaller band for the project I was doing. As for the actual product, all I can say is Mech. It does what it says on the tin and looks good (to be honest I use it to protect my windowsill from a window box so you can't really see the product), but it wasn't easy to get started and it was really hard to get rid of all the wrinkles and folds; The wrinkles were there because the roll was wrapped so tightly that it wrinkled all over the product. I don't remember anyone else mentioning this in the reviews I've read, but maybe I should have read ALL the reviews. I would not recommend this product as it takes a lot of effort to smooth out wrinkles and creases to keep it looking beautiful. Next time I'll be careful not to buy a roll like that. UPDATE 9/5/21: This product does not peel off easily on any surface. I followed the directions exactly and discarded the molding as I wanted to protect the paint underneath the item that had scratched the window sill. But in the end I didn't like the way it looked, so I tried to take it off without damaging the window sill. nope When I removed this product it not only removed all of the paint but also removed some of the drywall under 3 coats of paint (primer and 2 coats). I would not recommend this product to anyone looking to remove it at some point in the future.
