This replacement remote covers 100% of the OEM remote control functions for my Samsung KS8000 series. We put the batteries in and everything works as expected. The remote control *similar* but not identical to the original. I've added photos alongside the original (this product is at the bottom of both photos). On this remote: * the buttons are slightly raised (like) * the back is black * there is a small bar for the IR emitter If you have a Samsung Smart TV you should invest in a spare/replacement. This remote has saved us countless times in situations where someone has accidentally carried the remote with them to another room, or in the all too common instances of the remote being wedged between the cushions of our sofa. Highly recommended.
