Because it is made of plastic, it is very difficult to clean. Also, my cat can't fit through the flap door, making it useless. I'm guessing because she doesn't like the way it feels on her back. I don't blame her, the plastic has sharp edges so it probably hurts sliding across the skin. Overall, it's poorly made and designed. It looks very cheap and thin. Things are easy to disassemble while the tray is difficult to insert or remove.
