I just installed this on my 2015 Ford Escape with a slightly curved windshield and it doesn't move. I have to take the time to take it off if I want to take it off, which is a good thing. It's big enough for a 10-inch tablet and small enough for larger phones (6-inch screens plus). Easily suitable for large iPhones and Galaxy cell phones with cases. The entire product is made of durable aluminum. recommend if you're serious about buying a mount that won't let you down. We also recommend lubricating the screw threads with WD40 upon initial purchase for even smoother operation.
