I love this dress! The quality is very good, the size is perfect, the color (dark blue) is nice, more like dark blue. I'm 5ft 2in and 125lbs and a size 6 fits perfectly although very long. It was easy to sew. The inner dress was polyester, simply cut it off, folded it in half and machine stitched it. wide stitch. Then just cut off the outer layer of sheer tulle with scissors and it looked amazing. It wasn't too heavy at all, but it felt solid, and the short sleeves helped cover my 50-year-old arms. appropriate for the formal event we attended. I can only recommend this dress!
