What I wanted from this purchase was a good exhaust sound for my R6 without spending too much money. Before purchasing this overhead exhaust I did some research on the pros and cons between a full system and an overhead exhaust. For the daily riding I do, slip-ons seemed like the best option (due to cost and performance gains I don't really care, the bike is fast enough). Removing the old can and installing the new M4 was relatively easy with the right tools. I wasn't expecting much as a lot of people here were saying that slip ons are a very minor change but gosh I was surprised! The tone was deep and rich, and the can rumbled into a nice deep growl at just the right volume. It's too noisy at 5am on a Sunday. I removed the baffle prior to installation, so I'm not sure if that sounds "quiet". It feels fantastic on the road and sounds fantastic, especially at low speeds. I'd love to hear how that sounds from an outsider. I'm sure it's as good or even better. I highly recommend this sliding system. There is no need for a full system unless you have to go there for your own reasons. Now my R6 is sexy :) You won't be disappointed.
