I've been using this cotton for many years and I love it! I make small reproductions of quilts and I love how the finished quilts look, especially after washing because they look aged and wrinkled. I hand over the quilt and it is needled very well - no pulling. I've also found that my stitches are much smaller with this batting than with wool batting or stitches made for hand quilting. Tried using a different cotton spray - didn't like the mess and fumes. I also sewed the thread with a different batting - I didn't like how the layers shifted so the quilting didn't come out as nicely. This wadding holds all layers very firmly but does not have a sticky surface to the touch.
